The Friends Of The Simpsons

 Carrying on from an earlier post where I introduced you to The Simpsons, (yes I know they probably don't need an introduction) I thought I would expand the post to other characters on the programme however, with so many different characters just where do you start?

 I've decided to continue with the characters associated with Springfield Elementary, friends, teachers and indeed the odd enemy. Springfield Elementary under the not to excellent hands of Principle Skinner is an often under achieving, chaotic and down right bizarre school, I'm not sure if anyone would want to send their children here!

Milhouse Van Houten


Milhouse Van Houten is 10 years old and Bart's best friend, they are in the same class at Springfield Elementary and although Milhouse and Bart are often complete opposites they share a close bond. Milhouse appears to be quite sensible, sensitive and intelligent but is also quite gullible, it is this trait that often leads to him being roped into Bart's mischievous plans. Milhouse has blue hair and eyebrows and has a large nose, he wears thick glasses and is often considered to be a nerd, nothing like Bart's bad boy, class clown image, he also wears a light purple t-shirt, red shorts and red trainers. Milhouse's love for Lisa Simpson is well known and is often seen trying to impress her, Lisa however is not interested in him as anything more than a friend. Milhouse is the only child of parents Kirk and Luann Van Houten have a rocky marriage and have since divorced and remarried again to compensate for this they often spoil him resulting in Milhouse having better toys than Bart.

Ralph Wiggum


Ralph Wiggum is 8 years old and is in Lisa Simpson's class at school, he is not very bright and suffers from learning difficulties, he is easily confused by situations that arise, which makes his character one the most loveable and charming on The Simpsons. Ralph can often be seen involved in unusual behaviour like eating worms or announcing something strange and appears to be in world of his own most of the time. Ralph is the only child of Clancy and Sarah Wiggum, his father is Police Chief who tries to encourage him to be more sociable and to make friends, despite this Ralph is often involved in either Bart's or Lisa's schemes and plans. He is often smiling, has simple straight hair and wears a light blue shirt and brown trousers and grey shoes.

The Teacher's Pet


Martin Prince


Martin Prince is 10 years old and is in the same class as Bart Simpson at Springfield Elementary School, he is very clever and is a teacher's pet which makes him a popular target for bully Nelson Muntz, even Bart has bullied at times, despite this they are often on friendly terms and has visited Bart's treehouse on several occasions and once tried to help Bart with his education in exchange for lessons on being popular. Martin is perhaps to clever for his class and similar to Lisa Simpson it has been mentioned that he is a gifted child and probably feels that the class is holding him back. Nelson's sexuality has also come into questioning and it has been hinted that he is gay. Martin has light brown hair with a side parting, he wears a white, short sleeved shirt, red shorts and black sandals.
